I always select and upload a photo for use as the course shell cover. Today, however, I tried several different image files (.jpeg) just as I had done before, but neither one appears after I click on "Update Course Details" in the Settings of the Canvas course.
We have had issues with this off and on over the course of the last two weeks. Strangely, it seems to happen with certain sections. We cannot get the course card to update.
@GingerGlass and @ditaleamor - Have you succeeded using a different file type like .png? I understand that .jpg should work, but I am curious if there is a pattern with which files work and which ones do not.

We haven't heard back from you in a while in response to @KristinL's question/suggestion. Are either of you still experiencing this issue, or did it get resolved? My institution didn't ever seem to have this issue with our Canvas instance, so it's hard to know if Instructure may have fixed something since you posted or if it remains an issue for you. Please let us know if you have a chance!
